Job Description : Technical Sales Manager will lead sales growth for security solutions within the Cayman Islands. This role combines business development, strategic account management, and team leadership. The ideal candidate is an experienced sales professional with deep knowledge of security technologies, proven success in market development, and strong ability to mentor and drive high-performing teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share goals in the Cayman Islands and select markets.

· Identify and pursue high-value opportunities in security, and technology sectors.

· Collaborate with senior leadership to shape local market penetration and growth plans.

Sales Execution.

· Drive new business acquisitions through networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships.

· Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, quotes, and RFP responses.

· Negotiate pricing and terms to close deals with corporate, government, and residential clients.

 

Team Development:

· Mentor and coach sales representatives to improve performance and achieve team targets.

· Support onboarding and training for new sales team members.

 

Client & Market Engagement:

· Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders.

· Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and community engagements.

· Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to inform strategy.

 

Market Knowledge:

· Leverage in-depth knowledge of security services and business environment to uncover opportunities.

· Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in security.

· Provide feedback and market insights to leadership to shape sales strategy.

 

Qualification:

-          Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, with at least 10 years of experience in security systems sales management and security business development.

-          Proven track record in driving revenue growth and expanding market presence within the security sector.

-          Required experience in security sales, specifically in electronic security, intrusion systems, access control, monitoring centers, or IoT‑based security ecosystems.

-          Strong technical sales background, with the ability to clearly explain, demonstrate, and position complex technology solutions to both commercial and engineering audiences.

-          Mandatory direct experience selling Ajax Systems solutions—or comparable intrusion/security technologies—is essential.

 

 

 

-          Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and motivate sales teams to consistently meet or exceed targets.

-          Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication capabilities.

-          Experienced in developing and delivering proposals, quotations, and RFP submissions. Proven ability to build and sustain relationships across corporate, government, and residential client segments.

-          Strong business acumen with a history of delivering measurable results.

-          Skilled at managing multiple priorities and performing effectively under pressure.

-          Proficient in MS Office and CRM platforms.

-          Holds a valid driver’s license with the ability and willingness to travel throughout the Cayman Islands and other regions as needed.

-          Flexibility to work outside standard business hours when required.

-          Experience managing strategic partnerships and developing channel programs.
